Oprah has retired her book club. Didn't it seem like every book was "about a young womens spiritual awawkening?"
Perhaps they used them all up.

Hey! Who turned off the gravy train!? She was supposed to be my ticket to the big time! I spent the last 3 years writing an insipid story about how a (woman/child/person of color) overcomes (oppression/depression/expression/impressionism) and ultimately triumphs by (running away from home/running home/having a cleansing affair/embracing his/her sexuality)
