Remember the cries of "Why didn't we DO something??!!" after September 11th? It seems that 'doing something' necessarily puts the rights of the many against the rights of the few. Not defending the government (or Bush) but it seems there must be some reason to detain him (outside of having hair worse than mine...), and if not, well, get yourself a gun, 'cause you're probably going to need one.

I agree with q-tip. It's just like in WW II where we had to put all those Japanese Americans in internment camps because, well because they looked Japanese. Hell, "unalienable Rights" are over rated and archaic.
