Does anyone else view this show as gaysploitation? I mean, I find it pretty sad that 'Jack' (of Will and Grace) has become some kind of template for the majority of the white-bread suburbanites' view of gay men.

I guess the show is the same as having a bunch of Asians run around and teach people about math. It plays up gay stereotypes, sure. But it also plays up the stereotype that straight guys are unclean, bunglers in the kitchen who decorate their walls with neon beer signs.

I agree with Lizzie... 'over the top' anything is annoying, and most of the gay people I know are not at all like those portrayed on the show. As for the kooks in Minnesota... what family value advocates death by a horrible disease?
