Catholic Brilliance

A priest who agitates and lectures his flock that to vote for someone who is pro-choice is a sin, was on NPR this morning.
When asked "Well WAR and the death penalty are the killing of human life too, how can you single out abortion?"
A: "Abortion is fundamental... because we can kill the unborn, of course we can kill each other..."

War makes much more sense to me now. We invade Iraq because my trashy cousin Briittany got knocked up. I don't know why I don't attend church more often. Surely these people have all the answers...

if this guy is a catholic, he ain't listening to the Pope... the Holy Father makes no such distinction - killing is killing, and once again, hypocrisy rules in religious circles.

I would think that most Catholic priests would see behind the bs of this administration... they are pandering as usual

Bush doesnt listen to the Pope. The Pope said - the Iraq war is an unjust war and he who invades Iraq will be held responsible before the throne of God and before the history of the world. How can Bush pretend to be the super-Christian president when he wont even take the advice of the real world leader?
